Don't let them tell you no!

I used to hate being in my creative zone, trying to break a barrier by doing something different and people would invite themselves into my zone only to warn me that things weren't gonna work. Or how I would simply express my aspirations only for people to tell me no or that I was doomed. This has always pissed me off. Mainly, because I don't typically ask for insight about the things I hold dear to my heart because they are just that. They are things near to my heart and for me. How could they dictate to me the outcome of a vision I have that's just for me? They can't even see it! Matthew 19:26-26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

The word "no" for me screams try another way. I don't see the word "no" as the end. There are 7.7 billion people in the world according to https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/. Out of that number, some of those people are going to have the ability to either make things happen for people or be the ones stopping people from getting to where they need to be. Either way, There's more than a fair chance you can get what you want. If what you want makes you restless at night and you find that you are constantly desiring your dream just that bad, PLEASE GO FOR IT. Go for what you want and don't apologize about it. Regardless of what you don't have.

Let's have story time:

Sam is a hard working & results driven individual. According to society, Sam's presence doesn't hold much weight. He's a high school drop out, He only has a business plan. Society places an unfair label on Sam and discredits him by using a systematic tactic of using what he doesn't have against him. If Sam decides to apply that thinking to his life, Sam will not go anywhere. If Sam doesn't go anywhere, people are gonna talk super s*** about him! They're gonna devalue him as a person due to him being disadvantaged. This scenario right here is why it pains me for people to only accept one way of doing things. If we are all on the same path but some of us are stuck in traffic, some of us get a flat and some of us just push the limits and hit the pedal, we are all bound to hit base at different times. Doesn't mean you won't get there! You would simply have to reroute!

No is sometimes necessary but in the appropriate context. If someone is "trying" to make a better life for themselves, try not to dismiss that effort. We need productive people in order to have PRODUCTIVITY. Make it your business to try and guide this person in the right direction without totally mutilating their dreams. We need people to stay encouraged and stay motivated. The only way we can produce motivated and encouraging people is to ingrain those qualities into those individuals by supporting their dreams & aspirations.

One "no" could be someone else's "yes". Not everything is for everyone but it is in important to be mindful of our disposition throughout our journey as it may give off the wrong impression in the pursuit of people trying to empower themselves. I feel as though we should also be mindful of our outlooks all together on raising the bar & setting the standard. Sometimes to raise the bar, you must abandon traditional ways of thinking. Stop doing what you see everyone else do and never be afraid of refusing to conform.

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
